My super fast, easy to make, delicious and healthy (maybe!) dinner! You can make it as a snack for these super duper hot days too!

Bought some silken beancurd the other day and did not realise that toufu these days have added vitamins, fiber or omega 3+6. In order to retain most of the vitamins, I decided to make a cold dish out of it. Note that you can use any brand of Silken Toufu. The key word to look out for is Silken so that you get a nice and smooth texture.

It originally looked like this. Already very yummy with the fried shallots added and a few parsley to make it more appetising.

But I ended up up-sizing it with some meat floss that I see laying on the table.. hahaha…

You can put as much as meat floss as you want or totally omit it.Your preference! I have so many different textures and flavour in one bite and the toufu is no longer plain with the sauce and flavours from the meat floss. A pity there was too little sauce as I did not make any measurement and was afraid of over dosing on oil! Next time I will remember.. π
Summary of Ingredients required:
1 piece of silken beancurd, chilled ( I left mine in the chilled room compartment)
~ 2 to 3 tblsp of Fried Shallots
~2-3 tblsp of Meat Floss (fish/chicken/pork, up to you)
For the sauce:
1) Sesame Oil (~1 tblsp)
2) Oyster Sauce (~1 tblsp)
3) Soya Sauce (~ 1 teasp)
4) Shallot Oil or normal salad oil (~1 tblsp)
Unpack the toufu from the box. Rinse and plate. Mix the ingredients for the sauce together and pour over the silken tofu.Add the crispy fried shallots and/or floss and then Tuck IN! It is as easy as ABC! π
