My Fried Fish Ban Mian 炸鱼板面, $4 lunch 🙂

The perks of having a late lunch alone is that there is no queue for the food that you craved for and you are free to go to any coffeeshop without worrying that there is no seat for you! Hence I ended up coming to Blk 7 Tanjong Pagar Plaza (just behind Tanjong Pagar Market and Food Centre) for lunch as they are always very crowded during lunch time!

Love the hand made noodles here and they have porridge too which I have yet to try.

Uncle cooking my Ban Mian

Close up of my Ban Mian.
Something soupy, something clear, something with a texture and something that is healthy all rolled in one! 😛

There were about 4 slices of fried fish, one egg and plenty of vegetable in the bowl.
It is quite difficult to find handmade ban mian nowadays as many have succumbed to getting those factory made ones which become pretty soggy midway through the meal.

Love the texture of the hand made ban mian and love the soup too! It does not become soggy like those factory made ones and retained the bite despite me eating so slowly! It was so good that I finished slurping everything! 🙂
