My Lor Bee Hoon Lunch, $4, today!

Had a late lunch today and decided to try out the newly opened Tiong Bahru Lor Mee中峇鲁卤面 Stall that has replaced the Hong Kong Noodle stall I love so much, thinking that the queue may be shorter but I was wrong! People just flock to new stalls here like bees to honey! hahaha

The Tiong Bahru Lor Mee Menu – the difference between the $3 and the $4 ones is that you get additional fried fish in the $4 one.

Looks pretty appetising with the chilli padi right? 😛  I find the sauce a little too starchy as they had just added more starch just before we placed our orders. The Auntie (aka the boss of the coffeeshop and the mother of the owner of the Lor Mee stall) told me that I could go and ask for more sauce when she saw that there wasn’t much left in my bowl after stirring my bee hoon. All I had to tell the owner was ” Mum’s orders!” hahaha..Decent lunch but wished there can be more ingredients like the one at the Tanjong Pagar Market 😛
