Royce Chocolate Bars, Hokkaido

We are all familiar with that buttery, melt in your mouth Royce Nama Chocolate that needs to be refrigerated but Royce Chocolate Bar that can be sold off the shelf at a shop??!  It is my first time seeing it at the Sapporo Mt Moiwa Ropeway Shop! How to resist with so many flavours available? (from top left clockwise:  black, creamy milk, white, almond, rum & raisin and milk chocolate)

Having already bought a lot of food, these were the 4 bars I purchased. Each bar of chocolate cost ¥357 (~SGD4.40) and do note that you cannot keep them for long as the expiry dates are all very short (though much longer than the nama ones!) With such beautiful taste, you do not have to worry that they will stay on the table for long as they were all gone in minutes after I opened them! Too addictive!

Now is time for taste test of those I kept as I gave some out as souvenirs.

Opening the bag and breaking out the chocolate to taste. Look at the amount of raisins in the chocolate!

Every piece is imprinted with the word Royce’. There are 30 such pieces in one bar.

The taste is beyond my description! It is really very very very very GOOD! Every piece of chocolate is packed with plenty of juicy rum fatten raisins and it is so addictive I probably popped 5-8 pieces into my mouth! LOL.. this is so good that I opened the almond pack immediately after but between the almond one and this, this wins hands down! So if you want to pick up some Royce Chocolate Bar, I would definitely suggest that you buy the rum and raisin one! 🙂

*We went to check out Singapore Royce’s outlet and realised that they are being sold here too! Can consider buying them too when you next pop by to purchase the popular Nama Chocolates.  😛 For a list of Royce Outlets in Singapore, click here.
