Pita & Olives Mediterranean Cuisine @ 100AM

My Grilled kebab lunch today!

Finally try out this very healthy and tasty Israeli food located at the third floor of 100AM! There is an escalator outside the building that brings you right to the entrance. This bistro can seat only 16 patrons so it is always a challenge for us to try it as we eat in pretty big groups during lunch!

Part of the interior from where I was seated.

The bistro had just a table for 2 left when we arrived so we did not hesitate in grabbing it! Space between tables is quite tight which explains my very narrow view of the yummy food available plastered on the walls  😛

Menu  – They have vegetarian food selections available so this is definitely one good option for lunch with your vegetarian colleagues. You can choose from falafel, stuffed vine leaces, sabich or labane, etc

Menu – I would say this page is for the meat lovers! hahaha.. you can have your meats in pita breads or as main courses served with hummus, salad and pita bread or served with rice.

My friend’s Mini Schnitzel Set, $13.90.  It has 5 strips of crispy chicken cutlets served with humus, Mediterranean salad and pita bread.

Love how the humms was served just like how I remembered it! For those of you who do not know what is hummus, it is actually a food dip/spread made of chickpeas blended with tahini, olive oil and spices with probably some lemon juice, salt and garlic (varies at different restaurants).

Close up of the crispy chicken. Looks good right?

A healthy portion of Mediterranean Salad. Basically there are lots of chopped tomatoes, capsicum, cucumber, olives and some finely minced coriander/mint drizzled with olive oil.

The nicely warmed pita bread that follows after the main was served.

My Grilled Kebab, $14.90. It came with 4 flavourful patties which is made of premium beef meat with onion, parsley, coriander and spices served with humus, Mediterranean salad and pita bread. You can opt for baked fries if you do not want the salad.

Close up of the kebab. Looking back, the shape and size looks like something else? The thought did not cross my mind then! LOL.

Cross section of the meat patty with some hummus on it.

It was soft, sweet and juicy! Love it!  It can be grilled a little longer  though and the patty can be a little firmer if it is served in this way. For this texture, I can already imagine how nice it would be to eat it in the pita bread. The half filled pita is something that I am definitely eyeing next!

Loved my colourful and refreshing salad and I finished every bit of it except for the olives! 😛

Prices here are nett which makes splitting of bills with your friends much easier. Do note that only CASH is accepted so do bring enough cash or you can draw some from the atms at the basement of 100AM (in NTUC Finest) or at banks within the Tanjong Pagar Market vicinity.
