On a mini ramen hunt with my friend and we decided to check out the ramen restaurant at ION which was to be our first shopping destination! Time counts when it comes to shopping hence the best place to eat would of course be within the mall itself right? What’s more, there are plenty of restaurants at ION Basement 4 that would definitely have something for everyone 🙂
Menya Kaiko at Basement 4 which is just beside the long escalator that you can take from the Orchard MRT level.

Kaiko has its own special Miso ramen where you can choose from white, red or spicy miso.
The monthly set menu where you can have a Hotate Ramen and any side (chicken teriyai don, char siew don or hotato okowa at $20++. There are sides like Akitsuke Tamago, corn, yakinori or hokkaido rice that you can add on too 🙂

You can choose red miso or soya-sauce too.

My Special Miso Ramen (Kani Dashi Miso), $17.90++ that comes with a tamago, corn, 2 crab claws, seaweed, and leeks. You can add on additional Crab Claw (kani Tsume) at $2 each if you fancy more! 😛

Love it! Definitely must add on if it does not come with your ramen!

Was a tad disappoint at the texture and size.

Overall, the ramen broth was a little too heavy for our liking but portion wise, it is definitely sufficient to fill you up for the whole day 😛 Service wise, nothing much to expect since the green tea ($2++ each, not pictured) is not refillable and other than that, all we need is to be served our ramen.
