Could not resist adding this on to my dinner! Been a very long time since I indulge myself with Goreng Pisang as it is a little heaty for my body. But when I saw the variety that was available at this stall, I told PB I must have it and I think my parents will like it too! LOL
Look at the almost empty display! Before we bought dinner, I had walked by this stall and there was still a lot of fritters left. In a blink of an eye, it was almost empty! Luckily, Uncle was still taking orders and Auntie was busy frying them and I got to buy my Goreng Pisang (aka deep fried banana fritters!)
See the freshly deep fried bananas draining in the background? 😀
The variety at the stall includes Cempedak (something similar to the looks of a jackfruit) , tapioca cake, red bean, green bean, sweet potato and 3 in 1 yummy cake which should be made up of our new year cake but it has run out so did not get to try it. Prices range from $0.70 to $1.20
The freshly Deep Fried Banana 炸香蕉, $1 with a batter that is so thin and cripsy! Yum yum.. I think business was so good that the banana does not have enough time to over ripen and go mushy when cooked.. LOL
Breaking a little of the Sweet Potato番薯, $0.70 one to taste as I am really too full! I would have finished it there and then if I still had room in my stomach after sharing the banana with PB.
Not too sure why my parents did not eat the rest and so I got to taste all of them the next day. I heated up the reminder in my microwave using the potato skins function and got really crispy fritters for snacks.
The Green Bean 绿豆, $0.70. Fully packed with mashed green bean that was a little moist and sweetness that was just right! Like!
The Tapioca木薯糕, $0.70. Juicy and crispy! Delicious!
In you happened to be at Changi Village, you can consider taking away some yummy snack from this stall. Oh btw, it is vegetarian too!
