“DRINK COFFEE Do Stupid Things Faster with More Energy”
LOL. Stupid things are not what we want to do with the extra energy but this poster did put a smile on my face!
Supposed to be here for brunch but due to PB’s delay, there is no food left(!) except cakes and drinks! Their weekend brunch ends at 4.30pm! There goes my brunch! Argh! When we arrived, there were a few seats for us to choose from but it was quickly filled up.
Another view of the interior where the drinks were prepared, orders taken and cakes displayed.
I was looking for some menu to be plastered on the wall or slapped on some posters but there were none. I was a little lost as to what to do when I entered as the staff went about doing their thing and I was left on my own. Later did I realise that the menu was placed at the counter and what you need to do is to place your order at the counter and grab a seat or vice-versa. And since it was only drinks and cakes left, it does not take much effort to order. π
Another view of the interior from where I was seated.
Our “high tea”. Cakes and lattes instead of tea! PB just cannot wait to attack the item nearest to him!
Top view of my Latte, $4.50 with a heart latte art.
It came with a very crisp piece of cookie that they could have just left in its original packaging. The latte was very smooth. Like!
The Green tea and chestnut cake, $5 that caught my eye.
Closeup of the cake.
It was dense and moist and you get a faint taste of the green tea and chunks of chestnut. Very well-balanced and not too sweet. Goes very well with my latte! π
The Loysel’s lemon tart, $4.50.
I added this to our order after spying it from another table. π
Close up of the lemon tart.
Another well-balanced item. It was not too tart nor too sweet. The crust was firm but not hard and togther with the curd, they just disappeared in my mouth. According to what we overheard, this is the recommended cake and is what people go there for. π

They have bicycles for rent outside the cafe that you can explore the place with. Overall, a very nice place to chill with very reasonably priced items. Prices shown are all nett. Despite a heavy rain and its location, we still see people streaming in while we were there and the cafe was quickly filled.
