That is actually called a lunchbox set but there is no stopping me from eating it for dinner so it has become my dinner box set! 😛
There are so many sets that you can choose from and you can even add on the many sides available at an extra of $0.70-$0.90 each.
Simply love this Set E and they even clearly spell out the ingredients in it. You get ebi prawns, fish otah, fish cake, ikan bilis and peanuts. The most important Sambal Chilli is included too!
These tempting little things wrapped in banana leaves… I always find it hard to resist! They are available with fish, prawns and squid with price ranging from $1.30 to $1.50 each.
For a cheaper alternative, you can get those wrapped in coconut leaves costing $0.70 to $0.90. They have the non-spicy otah too! Something that brought back childhood memories as we could not eat spicy stuff when we were younger and non-spicy otah were so hard to find then. So when we were given them, we will slowly savour the only 1 or 2 pieces as they were so priceless!

Look at the meaty fish otah and the yummilicous deep fried prawns. The rice has a nice pandan & Coconut milk fragrance and eating it with just the chilli is enough to make a meal!
The peanuts and ikan bilis are pre-packed for takeaway to keep them crispy – an improvement in their packaging and standardising the portion given to the customers.

Was a little disappointed with the amount of ikan bilis in the pack but nevermind, I have added on the Fish Otah wrapped in Banana Leaf, $1.30, to my meal 😛
A satisfying Ebi Nasi Lemak Dinner although it is something that is usually eaten for breakfast/lunch. With Lee Wee and Brothers selling it at outlets in various malls, we can have it anytime we want. Just have to go early before the ingredients run out to get your fix! 🙂
