Gyoza!
Looking for dinner after my course and decided to head to AMK Hub to check out Gyoza Bo! I did not know that there was a restaurant selling Gyoza in AMK Hub until I saw the advertisement on the newspaper Today! Since I am still suffering from post-Japan cravings, this should hopefully help to satisfy it! π
Gyoza Bo is located at B1 of AMK Hub, right in front of the AMK Hub customer service counter. You can choose to sit inside the restaurant or outside in an area cordon from the open space where it is still in an air-conditioned environment.

Its specialty would be the Original Yaki Gyoza from Osaka but there are other very attractive food too. You can takeaway the Gyoza which I contemplated but ended up eating in the restaurant as something else caught my eye π
After browsing the menu, you place your order through a tablet. Most of the restaurants have adopted this system of ordering to help them overcome the difficulty of getting helpers.
A chit with your order will be printed and placed on your table.

I ordered the Classic Tenshin Han Set as it combines the 2 items that lured me into the restaurant.

My Tenshin Han ($10.90 ala carte). I was a little disappointed as it looked vastly different from the one in the banner. I had eaten tenshin han at another restaurant before and it definitely did not look like the one above.
Cutting the egg apart to reveal the rice beneath. The egg was a little oily and it was not fluffy as I had expected. There were some shredded carrots in it and it feels like what you can cook at home, a fried eggs with carrots and covered over the rice. The sauce was sour. I think it was probably some vingear drizzled over the egg . Not the sweet sauce that I was thinking but it did help to cut away the greasiness from the egg.

It is very hot so be careful not to burn your tongue! The fillings were a little salty but if you dip it into some vingear, the taste would balance out nicely.

My dinner came up to $15.18 after including 10% service charge and 7% GST. If not for the gyoza, I would find this meal a tad expensive as there was nothing much in the tenshin han. Perhaps I should have tried other items like the soup Gyoza hot pot or perhaps opted for the Gyoza (12 pieces) set and get my fill of gyozas. π

I just had the Chashu Ramen Gyoza set. The Gyoza is ok but the Ramen is one of the worst that I have taken.
Oh dear.. that sounds bad.. anyone else have their experience to share?
Just went there today to dine. Order an ala carte item initially but then realised there is a set lunch. So ask the waitress to change the order and cancel the earlier item. But in the end they sent both orders. We asked the waitress over and she was very rude to us saying that we didn’t tell her. She spoke in a very defensive and rude tone to you, insisting she is right. In the end she just walked away and throwing a temper right in front of us. This is really the worst service ever.
I feel they really need to improve their service before they start losing all their customers!
