Waahh.. I am back again at Feng Shui Inn for Biz lunch! How lucky I am!
Still too pai seh to flip the menu this time round although there are no more VVIPs at the table but the floodgate to snap food pic has opened! 😛
The appetizer on the table – A combination of braised peanuts with mustard leave and chilli for that little kick. Nice!
The 2 different chilli sauce for your to dip the dip sum. On the left is the XO sauce and the left sweet chilli.
We ordered similar dishes as last time as most of them in attendance today had missed the previous meal with the only exception – ME!
Pan Fried Carrot Cake
Goes very well with the XO sauce. This time no need to share. We got one piece each. ;P
Very nice veg but dunno its name
Baked Onion Buns with Gold Leave
Looks so delicious and opulent with the gold leave right?
Close up of the cute bun
Cross section of the yummy bun.
Tasted of Char Siew more than Onions 😛 Nice!
All of us had option of one soup. My col’s Soup with Abalone
My Soup with Premium Fish Maw. Full of Collagen goodness but this time round, the bowl was much smaller compared to the last time we had it.
Beef served with the bone
Very nice and tender but I prefer the one at the previous meal as that was more savoury.
Deep Fried Prawns wrapped with Beancurd Skin
Did they run out of seaweed? The one we had previously looks way more appetizing!
Our stack of Dim Sum
Steamed Siew Mai with Baby Abalone
Close up of the tender baby abalone on top of the Siew Mai
Glutinous Rice in Lotus Leaf
Opening up the Lotus Leaf
Very fragrant and steamed to perfection. There are mince meat, mushroom and shrimp sandwiched between the glutinous rice.
The portion of Har Gow that the waitress distributed on our plates as there was no more space to stack on our table.
Phoenix Claw that looks like it will melt in your mouth.
Combination plate of Roasted Pork and Char Siew
The crackling on the roasted pork was way too amazing! Definitely a MUST try when you are here!
We were way too full by the time this noodle arrived.
But still, we had stomach for desserts! My col’s Hashima with Longan (hot)
I stuck to the standard – Mango Pomelo Sago with Ice Cream.
Again, the way it is served is vastly different from last round.
Love the interior of the restaurant
View of the table and the wall where we sat the previous time. 🙂
