Din Tai Fung 鼎泰丰 @ Marina Bay Link Mall, revisited

How was your Good Friday? My Good Friday was not really that good. My Date was late for 150min and my plans were disrupted at the last minute as I received notice requesting for help.. 🙁 Hence, I could only settle for a quick and simple dinner after doing some work and it is at Din Tai Fung at Marina Bay Link Mall – AGAIN! LOL…

This place should be all too familiar so I shall let the photos speak for itself ;P

Spinach Tossed with Sesame 芝麻菠菜, $4 – I tried ordering this cold dish again after it was sold out the last time and it is available today! Yeah! A very fragrant and easy to eat dish which is high in iron! Recommended!

Hot and Sour Soup 酸辣汤 (small), $5 – This soup is loaded with ingredients! Every mouthful is filled with sliced doufu, egg, meat, black fugus, bamboo shoots,etc. Do not be fooled by its name as it was neither sour nor spicy. I added some chilli from the container on the table and splashed some vingear over it to make it more hot and sour 😛

Taiwan Shrimp & Pork Oriental Wantons with Spicy Sauce川味抄手, $7.50 – My favourite for this period! Available till end April2012 so eat it while it last!

The Ginger and Vingear dip for the Xiao Long Bao (XLB). My date does not eat ginger hence there is 2 portions in this saucer.

Close up of our order Xiao Long Bao 小笼包 ,$9.50 for 10 pieces. Again, not the best but is a must order when we dine here. The temptation was partly due to my sibling’s post of her eating XLB in Shanghai! 😛

Our Good Friday Dinner!

MBLM has a new promotion from 06-21 April called Savvy in the New Downtown 2012.
