Back to Crystal Jade Kitchen for a late lunch/early dinner as PB was super late for lunch and way too early for dinner!
Contemplating the set meals available as it looks pretty sumptuous, value for money and I do not have to use my brain too much! 😛
Set Menu for 2 or 4 pax.
Decided on having our usual as the sets looks super filling and we wanted to have some dim sum too which will be too much for just the two of us if we had ordered the sets.
Steamed Ha Kau 水晶鲜虾饺 (4 pieces), $5.80++
Look at those translucent skin! It was filled with about one and a half prawns (if I didnt remember wrongly) and I was too busy eating it while pipping hot to take any picture! 😛 Definitely recommended.
Love the chilli here too!
Steamed Siew Mai with Crab Roe 蟹黄蒸烧卖 (4 pieces), $5.80++
Close up of the ingredients inside the siew mai.
Our love – Crystal Jade Signature Pork Belly 翡翠烧肥叉 and Roasted Pork Belly 脆皮烧肉.

Somehow it tasted different today.

Lean Meat with Century Egg Congee 皮蛋瘦肉粥, $7.80++

It was little more salty today but still yummy.
PB’s Premium Seafood Congee 极品海鲜粥, $12.80++ that has scallop, sliced fish and prawns in it.
The scallop that PB insisted I have.
Deep-fried Mango Prawn Roll 芒果沙律虾卷 (3 peices), $5.80++
Cross section of the Mango Prawn roll.
Nice combination of prawn and mango but I felt there was too much mayonnaise in it.
PB’s Dessert- Mango Sago Pomelo, $4.80++ (there was a 20% discount for this)
Close up of the mango in it.
Our total bill came up to $71.35 which is about the price of a set menu but we got so much more variety instead which I love 😛
