Love the lychee pops sold by Mr Bean and I was so thrilled to learn that they are offering 2 new types of pops in their Tropical Fest – Pineapple and Calamasi! So how can I not try them out?!
My Regular Lychee Soya Drink with Calamansi Pop – $3
I love calamansi drink and decided to try the Calamansi pop. I had thought that the base of the soya drink will be fixed but I was given a choice of Lychee Soya or Orange Soya with my choice of pops. I decided on a Lychee Soya Drink with Calamansi Pop since that should be light enough for me to taste the calamansi pop.

It was not as tart as I have thought and has a bitter taste at the end. Maybe they squeezed everything, including the skin, to get the juice and hence the bitter taste. Between the lychee pop and this, I would prefer the lychee one. Perhaps the calamansi pop will taste better with the orange soya drink? I will not know until I give it a try next time 🙂
